What began as a midnight heist into Neuro-Chem Labs to clear an innocent man’s name derailed into a corporate execution when security operatives turned their weapons on Max Kruger. Disarmed by an EMP blast and dragged before the clinical Dr. Dr Vivian V Kaine, the crew faces a ruthless ultimatum: sell out to the megacorp, or share Kruger’s fatal fate.

SESSION SUMMARY

  • The Midnight Infiltration: Under the cover of darkness, the crew staged a stealthy break-in of the Neuro-Chem Labs facility. Slipping past the upper perimeter defenses, they successfully breached the subterranean levels and made it into the highly secured research room.

  • The Corporate Clean-Up: Inside the research level, the crew confronted the manager, Max Kruger. When Kruger attempted to summon his personal security detail, the situation went completely sideways; the incoming corporate tactical team instantly executed Kruger on the spot with a clinical headshot.

  • Total Blackout: Before the party could react to the sudden execution, the corporate strike team deployed an EMP blast directly into the room. The pulse instantly shorted out and deactivated all of the crew’s weapons, gear, and cyberware, leaving them completely subdued and disarmed.

  • The Penthouse Ultimatum: Bound and blind-jacked, the crew was escorted to a high-end, luxury penthouse overlooking Night City. There, they met their captor, Dr. Dr Vivian V Kaine, who explained that Max was liquidated for being a liability. Impressed by the party’s efficiency, she leveled a chilling ultimatum: sign on the dotted line to work for her, or suffer the exact same fatal fate as Max.
